Thinking Of Corys..

Sorry, I had to go do some fishy things. I hate box filters. They are so messy to maintain. I like my nice and easy Emperors. Zip Zip and the cartridges are changed. Expensive but easy. I can't get the Rena to work.
:grr: :grr: :X

I keep peppers in the lower 70's. But I have had them in the upper 60's, and they seemed happy.

Schwartzi, Pulchers, leucomelas

Leucomelas are not as spectacular as pulchers and schwartzi with the fine high dorsal spine, but they like hgh temps (77-86) and have the spotty/dotted lines and collar. They are listed as a lower ph, but mine are at about 7.5 and doing ok.

I have Super schwartzi CW028 and pulchers. They are striking. I would go for the big group, but you certainly may mix.

How about maybe even some Panda Corys for the coldwater tank?
As I read they like much lower temps than any other cory.
:)

Pandas are a bit particular and like very good water conditions and calm tankmates.

They are also mall. Goldies are a little rough. They like to poke and prod and bump. The peppers won't like it but they will most likely manage--give them cover. The pandas may roll over and die.

I was thinking about pandas for when my goldies go outside :)

It's a 15gal tall!

the pandas would like that at about 72--although some keep them cooler. get your pandas from abreeder or wild caught

I went with 3 Corydoras robinae in the end.
I read they like 70-79F and I have lowered the temp. to 75F :)
