Thin Tank.........cycling :)

I think otos would be a great addition to a tank such as this. They would deffinatly thank you for an arrangement of small bits of bogwood on the bottom of the tank, as would any bottom feeder like panda corys and pygmy corys (both of which would also be suitable).

I realised we have a skinny tank like that at my work. Someone got it made really skinny and bout3ft long but never came back for it, it's all wrapped up fresh from the makers still!!

..I thought you meant that the one you mentioned was available.............and you could "make it dissapear"....


SirMinion, the Banana plants (about 7 of them at between 3 and 7 foot tall) are growing in the conservatory...........amongst the Pineapples, Strilitzias, Elephant Ear palms etc, etc, etc. (Emma is a bit of a plantswoman... ).
They currently make a nice back-drop to the tank, but I think we will have a move-round in the conservatory so the tank can be seen more clearly from the other side.

One of the interesting things is the logistics........(interesting or just plain difficult).

Catching fish is going to be a pain.

Water changing is quite easy as it is next to a sink.

.....pros and cons...........but it is nice to be a little "different"......

Although Emma has made me promise that 2 tanks is all......................for now....


Oh.......and it is nice to have a tank which is at eye level.......from the kitchen side......and from the Conservatory side, where you can go almost right up to it.......
