Pleco- too dirty, never see tham. despite what lfs tells you not every tank needs one. most plecos also too big have special feeding needs and in general are a hassle.

As for angels, angels are big stupid high maintenance fish. they remind me of a super model pre madonna blonde grat to lookat but in if every thing isnt perfect they'll throw a fit.

first of all i have both these fish and i completely disagree with you. i have only a sponge filter for me, no big fancy hi-tech filters and i have no problems with cleanliness with my pleco. as for feeding, i don't. he eats whatever grows and does great. and he does great in my 10 gallon. he is the easiest to care for out of all my fish.

i do nothing for my angel except feed him and thats it. you call that a "a big stupid high maintenance fish"? what is wrong with you???

i love it when someone disagrees with something you like. it's alot like food when you sit down and your buddy orders liver and onions and you say yuck i cnat believe your eating that i hate liver and onions and thats when you realize that's why you didnt order liver and onions because you hate it and you also realize just because you hate liver and onions doesnt mean every one else has to. that being said i hate angel fish. theyre big and stupid, good to look at but a waste of time. That being said iyou can have all the angel fish you want thats your perogative anfd if i think theyre stupid thats mine. no hard feelings just pointing out some things. As for plecos i have a rubberlip. he's cool but does dirty up the water. he doesnt move much i feed him peas and cucumber and algea wafers. theres not enough algea in my tank to keep him alive and if there was he problay wouldnt eat it cuz he's lazy. the lfs spoiled him with vegetables and he doesnt like algea. he's cool looking though but kind of boring and the lfs ripped me off when i bought him. In general though plecos get way to big and are messy and dont do what theyre supposed to after a while that being eat algea,i like little plecs not big uns.
