yeah i got my eheim classic today and seemed ok, then i found a broken bit of plastic on the bottom and then the head of the filter had something rattling around inside. don't know if its an major problem but one of the internal clips has been snapped, and judging on the rest of the filter i think it would have had to been dropped pretty hard for that to occur, or something real heavy had to have hit it, because it is an unusual break. haha i guess couriers cant read "fragile" spelled out in big letters. don't even know if i should bother opening up the media and testing it out or just sending it back. i guess sending will be additional costs so it will come down to the fact that if it really is a small issue, (of the filter not being aesthetically pleasing), I'll decide if its worth it or not, but if it does effect the performance of the filter ill have to send it back.

yeah i guess u could even say that im over reacting, but when you buy a new porche and the back window doesn't wind up properly, you expect it to be taken care of.
