i've been real excited for the end of this month as i couldnt wait to receive my monthly wage, i had big plans. well they seemed big ad exciting to me.
i was going to buy myself a nice big batch of new plants for my tank, i was gonna greatly increase my stocking numbers. i was going to buy a new light for my tank hood, and get a bit of a variation of foods for the fishy dinner menu

well being the person i am and being struck with bad luck a lot of the time, i havn't been payed, well i supposedly have been but there is no money in my bank account, i've been checking it constantly for the past couple of days but nothing, no change in my balance what so ever. so let down because i was so looking forward to putting some money into my fish-keeping aaaah

Depends, most people get paid on the last working day of the month (today) which generally means that depending on when its paid in, how quickly the banks transfer the money and so on...

My work banks with Barclays and so do I (unfortunately!!) but it means my money transfers pretty quickly. Though my paycheck wouldnt have cleared until midnight on the day they paid me (so it should have cleared about an hour ago) though sometimes Barclays are really slow and when i check online, the money is there but it isnt when i check ATM machine. Banks fault.

I would keep checking tomorrow.

Where i work they use a very old payroll system as its a small business, ill be paid somewhere between 5 and 6pm today, whenever the Director gets round to putting it in my bank. No sexy SAGE500 accounting here! Just an old guy with a ton of money to dish out, and a calculator!

Hope you get it through soon. I know how frustrating it is when you know the LFS has what you want, but someone might beat you to buying it

thanks for the replys people im gonna check my bank again soon, i rang my work yesterday though and they said it was pay day today and the money should have came through, but every time i checked an ATM it wasnt there my friends have said maybe your working a month in hand which is adding to my confusion lol! as i thought if i was i would have been told at work, but i dont know whats going on, weather its my bank or my work or what! i just hope i get my money soon
