  from his first attempt?  We could have a cut off date like the other comps if you like?  This may possibly spur them into action

So, unless we see evidence soon - your call to define a timeline current entrants - it is between Mamashack, Shelster and MBOU, with Australia and USA accepting they just cannot compete with such classy YP challengers

Ummm, if I were to join this challenge which side would I belong to? Being Canadian, same continent as the US, but, we also swear allegiance to the Queen.....not going to add History lessons to the English Grammar ones, lol!
 
When I saw the thread title Yorkshire Pudding I received the subliminal message that I was hungry for something sweet, and became actually disappointed when I read that this yorkshire pudding tastes good with horseradish! What? That can't be right...
 
So I got my arrowroot cookies and Nutella spread anyway and read some more. Bread-type cups filled with meat and sauce and stuff, yummm. I think I could make something like that. Page 2....6 more to go.....

I will point out that I actually did show "some" YP type food, when I posted my "Popovers".   That said, I haven't made a proper YP.  I will gladly bow to the culinary masters before me (at least when it comes to YP!).  You are truly my betters...  While I may not actually be a part of the competition for now, I do enjoy the idea of toying with this when I get some free time...
 
But, alas, even before my "summer vacation" begins, I will be heading off to Arizona for a 3 week job, and then 5 weeks at a STEM summer camp, before I toddle off to Disney World.  I don't think I'd actually be able to do the requisite research and practice for an entry before September!!!

You are welcome to join us and can be Canadian, it was originally set up due to the banter from TT and eagles in another post.  The more the merrier, get your entry in as soon as you can.

Yes, I recall your pop-overs but they are only part YP!  We look forward to seeing your entry in September, as we may well have other competitors willing to join you.  Make a note in your diary

I praise you for your efforts, we could disqualify you but I am sure the other contestants would prefer some competition.
 
How long before we close the current entries everyone?  Remember we have a Canadian challenger who needs time to join us when you decide on your date

  Can't wait to try it, even going to make an onion gravy to go with it, and that horseradish idea.....definitely trying that!
 
When I told hubby about YP his words were, "Oh that, we were served that every Friday, take a bun and add gravy"! 
 
Well, I will show him "bun and add gravy", I will make toad in a hole, yummmmmmm!
