So I'm waiting on my first ever mail order brides for my betta boys.

And the mailman is not here yet

And I've walked to the end of the driveway no less than 12 times

And the neighbors are starting to stare


*sigh*


I'll post pics when they get here though!

Ooooh, so handsome! I love the teal boys- my Fysh had a lot of teal in him, so I'm very partial Those are gonna be some very happy ladies!

Sorry it's taking so long for them to arrive- the mail never seems to cooperate when you need it to, and yet they always deliver the bills on time. It's not fair! Don't worry about those gawking neighbours- I get up every morning in pjs and slippers to take my dogs out, and trust me, once the neighbors get used to you, after a while they don't even blink

Who cares about the neighbors, they don't understand Go get a lawn chair, a walkman/ipod/portable tv or something to pass the time, and sit there and wait for him/her

How many days has it been? and what kind of shipping did they have?

Yeevia sent them by priority on the 28th. A vinegar eel culture was sent from texas the same day and it got here today.

OH it will just break my heart if anything happens to them

USPS doent have any more info other than they have shipped.

please someone tell me they will be ok ... I'll never forgive myself if anything happens to one of yeevia's babies!!!!

ok take a deep breath and just calm down
i just got some from yeevia on the28th they are fine he does a very good job of packing them he uses bag buddies to keep the stress down (the reason for blue water)
i would think your bettas should be fine where do you live i know he ships priority mail so give it 2 or 3 days

OK ... my breathing rate has returned to normal... I've never had fished shipped before so I'm completely paranoid. I'm in SC so they've got a bit of a way to come.

You better believe I'll be sitting on the porch till they get here tomorrow

Oh my. Calm down. You make me more heart attack! LOL I have try my best to pack it real good. More air than others breeder packing. So lets just a deep breath.
I been busy today doing a sculpture and just stop at 10.00pm. A nude model was in my studio so I am doing nude figure sculpture!

CoryKitty-- Yeevia also sent me some mail order brides (and a groom ) in the mail on the 28th! He shipped out in the evening though which explains why it is taking 3 full days.

They did not come today either, but I am positive they will arrive to us tomorrow (July 1st)

Is your tracking for them updating? Mine isn't.

We will get eachother through this

but its OK ... I'm calm now ... I'm sure they will be just fine

I'm having visions of hunting my mailman down early in the morning and demanding my package so I dont have to wait until noonish when he gets here. I'm on the last street in my neighborhood


My husband says they probly wont give it to me if I do that though )

Oh and if it helps reassure you, I received 5 males last winter (seriously, northern Michigan winters are TERRIBLE. 20 degrees below zero, hello!), and it took 4 and a half days!! They were a bit shook up, but fine. I still have them
