One should never do a 300% water change, it can be too much of a shock since tap water has different parameters than tank water. Especially if one does water changes frequently and has tap water with a high buffer capacity. Those are in the biggest danger.
OMG! How do I undo the water change!?

But unless you're a *talented* singer with a *generous* imagination, you can't. I'm afraid all your fish are just going to die. I hope you're happy.

Well they had it coming >.> Little ********!

I find that a most disturbing attitude to have in regards to your fishy subjects, who regard you as God. But I suppose they all have to learn that God is malevolent and punishes for no good reason sooner or later. I just hope you've read them the old testament during the water change. Serves them right for not raising a Noe-fish.

EDIT: How would you like it if somebody installed a giant air conditioning unit in your little glass prison? Not too good, I presume!

Well then they better start repenting and quickly if they stand any chance of survival. But they should of seen the signs for they recieved no heavenly bloodworms after the last water change. They know bloodworms come after every water change and you could see their initial confusion, yet then they just when about with their lives like the signs mean nothing. They deserve slow dry deaths!

BTW- will the plants be okay?

That depends on the quality of your tap water. If it is naturally high in nitrates and phosphates, they will be okay. If it is low, you've just killed them all by removing nutrients. Better pump in some CO2, at least to 45ppm, to help them recover. Also, light aggressively, if you don't need sunglasses, it's too dark for you, bro! (And don't you try mention some limiting factor BS, we all know that theory is stupid.)

I think my tap is high with both of those. I can certainly increase CO2 as I run pressurized, but I don't maintain my drop checkers so IDK what CO2 runs at. I take it I can simply use the surviving fish to gauge the CO2 levels? tank is 55gal with 110 watts of light but I can increase that to 900watts. Do you think that would be sufficient?

900 watts would only be sufficient if you need sunglasses to view it.

CO2 levels and O2 levels in the water are sadly not related. Also, your fish are a bad indicator, since they will die anyway.

WINNING!

Buy over 9000 plecos, put them in bath tub, find them in toilet the next day. (assuming your toilet is near the bath tub)

Hey Lovelies!!!

I has some guppy fry that are aboot 3 weeks old.. I decided to conduct a lil experiment today inwolving a guppy fry that is aboot three weeks old and putting said fry in my beta tank and see what happens..

well by the time I came back to my tank from getting an oat soda, the show was over..

I can only deduce that the fry got sucked up into the filter.. yeah that's what happened..

I wonder what my stats are?? that might of has had somethang to do with the missing fry.. scratch that idear aboot the fry getting sucked into the filter..

I halfway agree with you FishBlast. The half that I agree with is that this thread has degenerated. The other half, into AWESOME, is all that I disagree with. ROFLMAO
