I was wrong aboot the 5 wolt regulator.... It was an LM317.. Yes it did fix the meter..
 
I wish all faults were that easy...

Juss got done fixing my pellet stove..
 
A lil back story: every year at the end of the heating season I has a professional come out and go through my pellet stove and give it a deep clean, basically break it down to parade rest, then rebuild..
 
In theory that is a sound procedure, but only if the "professional" does a good job..
 
I had THE STOVE PLACE IN SHREWSBURY MASSATWOCHITTS come out in June and perform my end of the year cleaning.
 
Well the dude did not put my stove back together correctly. So in essence I paid THE STOVE PLACE  over two hundred dollar to break my stove for me..
 
I will never ever again purchase anythang from that place, and I will do one better, i will tell everyone I know who has a pellet stove never to purchase anything or get a service from that business..
 
It's like the ole adage in the restaurant binnus... If you has a good meal in a restaurant you'll tell four people aboot it, if you had a bad meal, you'll tell ten..
 
HEY RUSK, I know you're in North Kackolacky and it's a little bit of a drive for you, but do not buy anythang from THE STOVE PLACE..
 
If this wasn't a family friendly forum I'd tell all y'all hows I really feel..

I still haven't fixed our pellet stove, even though I'm pretty sure I know what the problem is.  I just afraid to start the project and not finish it because parts for these a scarce, especially in The South where these are very rare.
 
We called the only authorized service center for my brand of stove, that was reasonably local, and they never showed up!  I tempted to change it out for a real wood burning stove since I live on almost 2 acres of woods.  I have so much stuff to burn that I sometimes spark up bonfires.  
 
I do love the natural smell and convenience of pellet stoves but I can't find anyone who services them.

Unfortunately I found my Dwarf Gourami dead in the 20 high.  We moved him last night because he was being dominated by the Three Spot Gouramis in the 55 gallon.  I guess we were too late.  That sucks.

I just have to ask you dont want to grow old?  I sure do.  I wanna live as long as I possibly can and enjoy every moment I can on this earth.  Even if I turn into a dusty old geezer.

Taking my Grandmother out to eat tonight with the family.. I hasn't seen my Grandmother since March.. She is not doing well.. She has a brain tumor, and it's only a matter of time..
 
83 years old, it's a full life, but still.. I did my crying for her when I found out last year she was diagnosed..
 
I don't want to get that old.. But then again i has a feeling that i am not going to has to worry aboot getting that old.. my 20's made sure of that..
 
Took a bunch of pics of my fish last night.. Wife hasn't emailed me them yet.. When I get them, I shall post them..

LOL yeah I wanna be a grandpa too.  But first I need to have kids.  Little too young for that though.

I won my baseball game yesterday! I pitched 2 innings, gave up 3 runs but all unearned. My defense did not do a great job for me at all. We advanced to the semi-finals. Playing tomorrow night against a team we beat 13-3 in the regular season, so again, hoping for similar results.

Hey Lovelies!  Zach also lost his playoff game yesterdiddy.  The good news is he's expected to make the Turkey Bowl team which is an all star team of sorts.

It was really, really good..

Word got out at work that I am a pellet stove fixing fool.. I fixed my buddy's stove on Monday after work.. He had a few things wrong, the main issue was the door seal, but also his temp sensor was broken, well the wiring was the issue. Had a broken wire.. So I had to make a splice and yaddy-yaddy-yadda..
 
 
This stove has a broken tc too. The owner broke the connector off the motherboard.. This local establishment is going to charge 600 for a new board, plus 160 an hour..
 
I told the dude that I would fix it for nothing, but if he wants to slide me 60 bucks, I'll take it..
 
Started drinking, hasn't eaten anythang except for two apples today.. I should be a cheap date to myself tonight..
 
Gots to do water changes on my tanks.. I turn that into a drinking game.. the plan is to be toasty by 5pm local..
