Both are, as @Back in the fold would use an emoji for, interesting.

I think I probably do use that “interesting” emoji a bit often but I read things that make me think or things I’ve never heard before and they interest me . I dwell on some posts and let them seep into my skull . Isn’t that what being interested is about ?

Dino were dominate for millions of years because nothing could out compete them. It took an outside event to end their dominance.

I believe that will be our fate. I have great faith in technology. Technology eventually masters the problems it causes in a so far endless cycle. It enables a relatively weak species to be the apex predator. Without it we would be simple prey.

Octopi (?) have not evolved to use technology in 300 million years. Perhaps after we are gone but not before. Human's will not allow it.

after over 300 million years I envisioned a long piece of broken off coral and a rock under the middle as a octopus seesaw or make that a seasaw at least.

Given how octopus is enjoyed as a delicacy in so many cultures, I wonder if when they are in charge they will return the compliment.
