OOOOHHHH

I remember reading you two have one of your trips planned for tommorrow don't you.

That is going to be fun, two journals plus the nano for reading about the hysterics that are bound to happen on one of your trips

Have fun

filling it up that way is far less painless than drip drip drip. For you anyway, the lads may have had back ache after!

if you have alrady said and ive missed it or forgot i cant go on the other pages very well as laptops being a **** lol
whats your stocking plans obviosly lions but what kind eg volitans dwarf and howmany

I saw a gorgeous white Pterois Antennata and a red Dendrochirus brachypterus Dwarf lionfish a few weeks ago and they looked amazing together, so they are top of my list :good:
As much as I would love a volitan it would be to big, Although having said that I have been looking at The Pterois russelli, They are harder to find but if one came to my attention I would find it very hard to say no

Yep, we are off to Amwells in around an hour, and I think seffie has planned to go to wildwoods and a couple of others too. (funnily enough the place I saw the lions!!!!!!!)
Credit Card at the ready

At last the powerheads have quieten down  they were making a lot of noise, it sounded like the M1 in my lounge, not good, but now we have just a gentle hum :good:
Salt is in, SG is 1.020 I will up it slightly, probably run this tank at around 1.023, as it will be FOWLR. (may be just a few ricordeas as they don't need as much light, and if they don't like it I can always put them in nano :good: )

Had a lovely, if un productive day out. I only managed to buy a mag float and a thermometer  Seffie got a thermometer!!!! We did see some lovely fish

So when I got back I was feeling fed up at the lack of purchases and I started my search for LR online and have managed to buy 40kg for £7 a kg. I'm happy with that :good:
Got to get skimmer sorted now

I don't know anything about this shop though so would like to know if anyone has ordered from here or see any problems with the choice of sand?Sorry to hi jack  your thread Trod, but we will probably end up buying the same as each other anyway -

Yeah - get some more pics up, i've read through the journal now I want to see what you've done with our tank - reckon it's gonna look amazing when you're done!!

Sorry everyone, but not much happening at the moment, I'm waiting for my LR, its being delivered wednesday. I have also bought a Deltic MCE600 skimmer, which should be delivered Tuesday or Wednesday, I got a real bargain, only paid £75 for it and its only a few months old :hey:
I decided to go with that, after seffie got hers, I borrowed it to see if it fits better then the V2 1200 and it sits perfectly on the back :good:
I also have my eye on 60kg of live sand from an established tank, got my fingers crossed for that too :shifty:

So lots of pictures at the end of next week when the pet rock watching begins
