The Indecisive Journal Of Trod's 5 Footer

Thanks guys, yes an emporer angel, I waited a year so the tank would be mature enough for him, I'm really happy with the way he has settled in, the clowns had a bit of a go, but got fed up and they are now all friends. I'm looking forward to him growing up and changing, he really is gorgeous

hes gorgeous!!!!! can;t wait to see his progress on here

my five foot tank could really do with being a marine tank ha

Very Nice seen one in the shop this week avoiding angels though as you can guarrent if he takes a fancy to a coral it will be my Blasto

They are worth taking the risk for

I am still waiting for my last 3 fish TMC have not had any good ones in yet gives me time to save up as they are all expensive :(

Right I have taken some photos and a video (thats if I can download it  )
Warning, if you want to see a pristine show tank then don't bother looking, if you are happy to see a very natural tank, with some cyano, aiptasia and hair algae then I hope you enjoy it, I know the tank is far from perfect, and there will be a few sharp intake of breathes, I have been battling the cyano for some time and it was a lot worse, the hair algae I quite like and the aiptasia, well its blooming aiptasia what more can I say!!!!

Seffie x aka Big Sis

ps just re-read these whole journel, boy its a good read :D

Well, its been some time since anything has happened with the tank.
After it crashed and I lost everything :-( I was very dis-heartened, it was covered with hair algae and cyno, I left it like this for a few months and was all but ready to sell up and go back to a nano, I started to clean all the LR,in preparation to sell, I took it out of tank and scrubbed it clean of all the algae, syphoned out the cyno, and while doing all this, I started to remember why I loved Marines,
Then came something that had been lacking for a very long time, a shopping trip with seffie :fun: oh how I have missed our outings, we headed off to Kent and the feelings were coming back  so some hours and a few purchases later I arrived home with a renewed love for my tank and Marines.

I now have several more soft corals (thank you Morri :D ) and they are doing well. So the next step is the re-introduction of fish, and the BIG question, lion fish or not, at this moment in time, I don't feel that I could cope with another loss and because of this am steering clear :(
I would like another assessor but this time would go for the blue, and I shall also have another emperor angel, this time I'm going to go for a pair of maroon clowns, preferably yellow banded, a tang and a wrasse that'll do for now, but you know me, my plans do tend to change!!!!!!

Anyway, I'm just enjoying my re-found enthusiasm at the moment. You might even see some pictures soon too

Hey hey welcome back!!!! If you find your way down south gimmi a shout and I will sortyoi out some frags :) (may be a gorg or two mixed in)

Well, looks like Trod has decided to give up Marine, she has totally lost heart

She will have some bits for sale soon I expect, mainly a skimmer, mce 600 and live rock
