no, make it a lions den. i have been reading this thread for way to long to see it turn into another boring reef tank.

If it had not been down to the LFS keeping their SG as low as they did, I don't think you would have lost him.

It will be such a shame as this has been your dream for so long now.

Having said that, it is your tank and your decision.

Whatever you do, it will look good. :good:

Must agree Sis although not about the 'boring reef' bit

Must also agree with Tina, if Swallows hadn't kept the SG so low then the Lion would have been fine, it has nothing to do with them being delicate - you have always wanted a lion, ever since we saw one in a lfs.............................

Anyways, whatever you decide to do will be great and maybe the lion tank will come later

wow, this has been such a rollercoastr trod :(
But now you cam have loads of corals and all sorts of goodies in there, and you can't forget cleaner shrimp, I think they're hilarious

Seffie and I have had a little trip to pets@home, they have so many wonderful fish there, I could have spent a fortune...................................hang on, I did

So the decision has been made, lion fish on hold UFN, sorry to everyone who has been waiting patiently, but this is the best decision for me

I am now the proud owner of a square spot Anthias  and an exquisite wrasse

Photos aren't great, they just won't stay still

OMG the foxface and anthias look amazing together, they are just swimming around each other, they look like they're in love  :fun: :D

hi trod been following your thread but kept quiet those new fish are really nice mate
regards scot :)

they look even nicer in real life

We both went looking for the Scott's fairy wrasse but both decided it probably wasn't the scotts - it had a white tummy and no sign of any colour at all - now I know when some fish get stressed they can go strange colours, it was the white tummy that really put us both off
