My opinion is if you don't want to do water changes then don't keep fish. You can't own a dog without cleaning up its poop (well you can but it's disgusting), you can't keep a bird in a cage without cleaning out the bottom of the cage when it gets dirty so it's the same with fish. Just make an efficient system for changing the water and build it into your routine.
