The HC has produced new shoots so all is good.

Mark (saintly) kindly sent me some :)

You can get it from Aqua Essentials and i think also the green machine do it.

ah okay, only seems to be tropica supplied companies that sell it!

also you have a really nice tank, i agree with your comment you made before about endlers lookin a bit like driftin leaves. still looks mint though, sure it will only get better aswell :D

thanks, post a thread in the BS&S section, someone might have some spare. I might have some spare in a few weeks.

Update:

I have took the windelov fern out and will be using more pogostemon helferi in its place to kee the midground simple, HC is filling in nicely as are the stems, bushing out really well now.

i have upped the dosing to 10ml daily and there is a remarkable difference!

Unfortunatley this wont be ready for the AGA competition (deadline is monday 15th :( ) i really hought it would ake it but the CO2 running out while i was away really set it back when i got BBA everywhere :( Maybe next year :)

nice one mate its getting better and better i see what you are doing with the rocks now, cant wait for that hc to fill it will look amazing, only critique from me is that i dont think the left hand back corner is working really, maybe when the java fern is taller it will look good, but thats the only thing that distracts my eye.

Thanks guys,

yes i did plant some E.Tennulus that Mark sent me for free but it didnt work out, i thought about Blyxa japonica but still unsure. Maybe a larger stem like rotala sp green?

do you want to go for a stem plant or a grassy look in the corner? if stem plant id say rotala green or nanjenshan would suit the best, if you want a grassy look anything from dwarf sag (sound silly i know but it would grow to the surface in that tank) to lilaeopsis macloviana to crypt crispatula var balansae
