Hi,

Well I went to the not-so-LFS today to pick up some bloodworm, and lancefish. guess who ended up buying 6 fish

I bought two more C. Trillneatus as well as three C. Zygatus

Here is a quick image of one of the Zygatus, they are quite big, nearly full grown I think.

I've not had much of a chance to look at them yet as had to rush out when I bought them. But I think I have two females and one male, they are now in with the 5 Trillneatus. I had moved them to their own tank now, along with the new plec too :D

I spotted them and though £9.99 naa I'll leave them, but then my GF saw them and she wanted them, so I managed to talk her into paying 1/2 :hyper:

The owner also gave them to me for £6.99 instead :) I think its becase I'm always in there and I spend a good £50 most trips :) some times its fish, others times food and other dry goods.

Ok some of you are prob going "well thats only 5 fish! what a fool!" :sly: but I also bought another clown loach to go with the one I already have, although my first one is about 6" the new one is only about 4" :)

I'll try and get some more pics soon.

 Nice one §tudz
That is a very cute looking cory. Look forward to some pics of all your cories together. Bet the Trilineatus were pleased you added some friends. It never seems to matter how many you already have in a group, add some more and the cories go mad.

Good luck and hope they all spawn and give you plenty fry. :good:

:D

 yeah the three I has seemed very shy, until they spawned the two bigger fish were still shy but the male who had taken part in the spawn became really brave. lol like he passed the man-hood test, he would come out and sit on a peice of bog wood in the center of the tank all like "Look at me! I'm a nig fishy now! hell yeah!!" :fun:

but before I left all 5 seemed to be out and about with each other so might have been a good move :) took me ages to get the original 3 out of their tank as it is heavily planted. lol

I didnt ask for a lower price they just gave me them at that price.
We dont have many varieties of cory here, usually just:

- Bronze/Albino
- Peppered/Albino
- Sterbai/albino
- Trillneatus

sometimes
- Panda

So when we do get some of the 'rarer' species they tend to very expensive here :(

And they are fully grown, I think, where as OI gather you get yours as babies?
I wanted them in adult form to spawn them, so its all good :)

:)

I added some more to their tank a few days ago, as it was going to be a rainbow snakehead tank, and wasnt going to be planted, added a few plants so had to make the sand deeper :)
