The Biffster Micro Tank

might have to get my O/H to do it like as i am
not in a good way at this moment in time

Its a long old journey isn't it, keep the faith, you will get there in the end :good: we are here for you

but i am going to try my damned hardest to to get it done this week and up and running

all i need is silicone :good:
spray bar :good:
ready mixed RO water :good:
living rock :good:
and another set of of LEDS white ones :good:
and some plastic bio balls - oh no, no, no
oh and a hydrometer one of the cheap ones as i am going to used ready
mixed water Best get a refractometer, more reliable.
you got any clues what i should be putting in it seffie - indeed, a lovely zoa garden, hermit, shrimp, small goby and a snail :good:
i am going to make some racking out of what bit of perspex i have left or should i just stack it - stack it :good:

Seffie x

what a bout ceramic hoops any better just thought i might use
what little bit of space i have in the back to make some heaven
for beneficial bacteria

well off out for a look for some stuff
to finish my tank off to day to finish
of the building side if it then next week
i will be on the look out the living sand and rock
and a set of white LED'S i might leave the blue ones out till
i can find a set of white ones i will get the water in the end
off this week the beginning of next week want to make sure everything
is up and running equipment wise before i commit to buying L/R and L/S
i will keep you informed to how i am getting on

Dont buy live sand, its a rip off - just get aragonite :good:

You will be able to use the space for a bag of phosphate remover or the like - steer clear of any thing like noodles or balls

Seffie x

ok will do you mean rowaphos yeah
aragonite what is that like calcium plus :good:

its a brand of sand :good: i cant wait until this nano is set up :D

It's not a brand rather than a kind of sand, it forms in the Bahamas From molusc shells, argonite sand helps buffer your ph.

hopefully will have it all together tomorrow
like calcium plus that you put in the filter
bed when do fish only marine to keep the
pH up like i used to do with my riffs :good:

yrros about that gone back to doing
somthing i used to do as a kid spelling srdow
backwards i think its something to od thiw stress

YIPPEE found a fluval spray bar kit now i can start with sticky
stuff tomorrow got the sticky stuff yesterday just a few more
bits of work then fun with the sticky stuff :hyper:

ha ha funny seeing you here!! should look spot on mate

I;d stick zoas in there all didfferent frags so you get a selection of colours, they will show up well with the leds.

I;d try a yellow goby, they stay small and look pretty cool in my opinion

just a thought and maybe Seffie will tell me off but could you have green star polyps in there as well, they;re only cheap and readily available :good:
