Now, don't get upset with me. I do not condone fighting bettas, but I really, really like the way they look. It was tempting to make this guy the latest family pet, which would probably p*** off the seller to no end. Imagine spending the time to condition and breed him from fighting lines only to have him end up spoiled rotten with only orchid and African violet blossoms to flare at? There was a $10 one from the same seller some from the US, but you know, they just weren't as interesting, and I just don't see myself taking the leap like that, yet. He's still pretty sweet-looking, though, in a more Rambo sort of way. Definitely do not have to worry about him busting his tail.

I also would never fight bettas, but I absolutely love plakats, including those bred for fighting. I love the way they look and they tend to be more active and feisty than long finned bettas.

I have just got my import licence and i'm in the process of importing 10 pairs for resale. Trouble is if you planning on getting just one or two it works out very expensive due to shipping
