Hi everyone,
I'm starting up and so haven't got many fish yet - just some pearl danios, glowlights and platies, but on Sunday, one of my danios totally vanished At 8am there were five of them - fit healthy and all eating breakfast, and by 11am there were only four
We spent the whole day looking for him in the tank, took the lid off the filter, moved stuff etc, but when there was still no sign of my danio-boy at bedtime I decided he must have suddenly died and got eaten Anyway, yesterday I think I read every single post on missing fish and was so surprised about how many mentioned fish getting into filters that I forwarded some to my hubby.
When hubby got home from work he went straight to the filter and took its lid off, and do you know, when he shone a torch in, there was my little danio-boy swimming round, and round, and round
Now the reason I'm posting is not just to say a HUGE to all you forum folk that saved my danio-boy, but to tell you that you really couldn't see him without the torch. Even though the room was bright, the water was shallow and the space was small, when you turned the torch off, he TOTALLY disappeared. Just thought it worth mentioning, that's all.
Sorry this is long, but thank you thank you thank you, I am soooooo relieved.
