Tger Barbs And Red Tail Sharks

I am about to set up a 30 gallon aquarium and i'm thinking about putting 6-8 tiger barbs in there to start with and after the tank has cycled adding a red tail shark. i'm wondering if the barbs and the shark will get along since they're both aggressive fish.some people have said they'll be fine together and others have said they won't.Just wanted to get some input

Sounds good to me. I'd definately make the number of barbs 8.

The Red Tail is alot tougher than the barbs, as long as you have a group of barbs you should be ok.

no don't worry i'm not cycling it /w him...i was going to cycle it /w the barbs

i used to have 5 barbs now down to three and i have two red-tailed sharks in a 96 litre tank there great
