Tff And Firefox

TFF has just this afternoon started crashing Firefox, but works fine in IE. Anyone else having this issue or is it just me?

I don't know why but since midday, the forum looks weird. The forum looks like its being loaded on a browser from 20 years ago. I'm using Opera by the way.

Had the same problem, updated firefox to the latest version and working fine now.

me too!

I thought maybe an update or plugin had been done that made it crash but then figured out it was just TFF, and now I'm confused.

Am glad it's not just me though...

Had the same problem, updated firefox to the latest version and working fine now.

I am having the same problem. i have no desire to upgrade to the latest version, Firefox 4.0. I did not like IE8 and don't want Chrome as I hate using tabs. I like how the 3.x versions of FF appeared and dislike almost everything I have seen re ver. 4. The problem is I do not use tabs, I use 5 addons and 9 plugins only and do not want nor need more. Mozilla FF4 is designed for folks who load as much 'carp" onto their systems as they possibly can

I just finished an online chat session with Mozilla regarding this problem. I wanted to ask if it is possible to make version 4.0 look the older 3.6 versions. I want my standard buttons, my links and my address bar and none of the new stuff that 4.0 has.

So unless the Admins here are able to change whatever it is that Firefox 3.6 doesn't like. I know I for one will not be visiting a whole lot. IE 6 doesn't do well here either because it is so old.

I was browsing in IE 8 earlier this morning and AVG kept blocking various trojan attacks coming from this site, as well as password stealers.

Don't know if that's AVG just having a silly moment or what, but I'm still having problems with Firefox and IE won't let me on at all now. I am on here using Safari though.

Edit: Reluctantly upgraded to FF4.0 - yuck, but working fine now.

I've had all the same issues. Clicking on TFF would crash Firefox and using IE would throw up virus warnings from my anti-virus sofware. Seems to be working fine on Firefox 4 though.

Same for me too. I had to use IE yesterday.
I've downloaded Firefox 4 which solved it, but I've just checked with my husband's computer, and TFF still crashed Firefox 3.x (whatever he's got).
Didn't get any virus warnings with IE though. Just running a virus scan.......

i have had problems with both, FF crashed and same as other IE bringing up virus warnings, i am currently on FF safe mode, i hate the look of FF

I had the same issue yesterday morning, upgraded Firefox & it's all good. Nonetheless this is being looked into.

I am very very happy to report that this issue has been resolved and I am now on here happily using my FF 3.6.16

Had the safe MF problem although it appears all is well but I have not updated MF I am still on 3.6
