Tetras For Eartheaters

I must admit, seeing small tetras swim peasefully along with the deep-bodied, slow-moving eartheaters looks great!

So I was wondering what kind of tetras could live with my two species of eartheaters when they get moved to a bigger tank.

I know of course that the small neons and cardinals wouldn't stand a chance, and I don't think the big Congo tetras look great with the eartheaters.

Could someone please give me suggestions/experiece?

Probably not got much response because it is more a cichlid question then a CC&A one. I don't keep cichlids and so have no experience with their demeanour. I suspect many others in here are in a similar situation.

I would go with Buenos Aires Tetras thats what im gonna do. ive heard they are extremely hardy aswell
