Tetra forum!!!!

alot of newbies and old pros alike have tetras and i for one would love to see a tetra froum . i belive there are alot of peeps out ther who would like a froum just based around tetras i mean how many people have tetras in there tank practiaclly every newbie in the fishy world does and many peeps with south maerican based tanks. i think it would be greta to have a tetra forum added into the main forum. if u agree with the idea please state what u think about it so please peeps suport the campaign for tetra froum!!!! sure tetras are a small amount of fish ut u must remaber we did have aforum based only around the betta at one time, and tetras are no doubt one of the most popular fish and are up with the big guys livebeaeres cichlids and bettas. SO!!! guys and gals suport the tetra forum cause!!!! aslo might help peeps look after neons better many die at the hands of newbies but i surpose we all made mistakes and still do

I like the idea. To me, it does make sense to have a Tetra forum. Many people do have Tetras. I currently do not have any, but would like to get some in the future. Yep, I like the idea of a Tetra forum. Whaddya think, Mods?

considering the number of types of tetras out there, and like you said, theyre a popular newbie fish (cheap and lfs tell you theyre hardy and easy) a tetra forum would be great. i know very little about tetras and posting a question in a tetra forum would probably get more and better responses than if its jsut posted under the tropical chit-chat (so many posts that specific breed questions can get alittle overlooked sometimes.......)

I also think a characin forum would be a great idea. Not only could people discuss neons and glowlights there, but it would be a good place for all of us silver dollar lovers to congregate, as well, not to mention fans of their nasty cousins the pirhanas.

So often, topics get buried in Tropical Chit Chat before more than a handful of people have had a chance to reply and you feel like a bit of a pest if you keep bumping your topic over and over again, begging for replies. Separating the many characin posts would undoubtedly help somewhat.
