Tetra Ex 1200 Problems :/

Got in touch with the seller today and he said he will take it back test it out and send me out a replacement if it is faulty and he said he would cover £8q of the postage and the delivery would cost £10 so rather than argue over a couple of quid I just sorted it and it's being picked up tomorrow. So hopefully I'll get a nice non buzzy non leaky filter in a few days, hopefully.

I wouldn't be happy with that tbh. Fair point about it only being 2 quid, but thats still cost you more than it should. The fact it buzz's is not your problem or fault. By the time this prat has recieved it, tested it and sends out a replacement you would have had it from TetraTEC and it wouldn't have cost you a penny... not even a phonecall if you rang from a land line... And you would also have a spare O ring and impellor out of it.

Possibly yes if the LFS or where ever you purchased it from is feeling particularly generous. The warranty lies with Tetra rather than the seller.

I bought it from a store on eBay but I'm pretty sure it's a high street store to. The only thing I was worried about was having to pay P&P to get it back to them as it's not particularly light

I just bought one from an Ebay seller. Who was it you bought yours from? I have just set mine up, hope I don't have issues with mine ..... Selfish I know
