Hi there can I ask which is the better of the two testing kits I've tried both API Fresh water master kit and now the NTlabs complete aquarium test kit.

API are easy to read some of the nitrates and nitrites and pH. but I'm skeptical about ammonia readings because it's so confusing that it doesn't show yellow or am I missing somthing? I can't even tell if it's a positive reading for ammonia or negative with API test kit I've uploaded a photo bellow of API and NTLABS ammonia
readings my current water parameters are.

Ammonia ???
Nitrite 0.0ppm
Nitrates 10.00ppm
PH 7.4
KH 6.5
Temp 25c

180 liter tank with decco 170ish
7 swordtails (5 female 2 male)
2 dwarfs gouramis (female)
2 platties. (Paired)
2 Bristol nose plecco 1 male 1 female
Any help will be appreciated.

If a colour doesn't match on a kit I look for traces of the next colour down or up and guesstimate it as a value between the two. E.g. in the first picture the yellow doesn't match does it, but there is no trace of the green, so I would take that as zero.

As for which is a better kit; I have neither so can't comment I'm afraid. I would say Salifert are difficult to read though!
