Test Kits And Stuff

Just about to purchase my first ever test for my tropical tank. Which one should I buy as there seems to be quite a few on the market ? If I do go for the API type,should I buy the 'Master freshwater kit' or is the more expensive Salifert kit worth the extra outlay ?

API Freshwater is by far the best you can get (in my opinion)

API Freshwater Master Kit is generally the kit most people have/recommend on here.

Yes that's what I use too. Btw on ebay it's about £10 cheaper than the shops

I got the API master kit. £20 quid in Ripples near Tamworth.

Go for the Saliferts, the API kit is terrible in comparison, the Salifert test kits are easier to perform, they're more accurate and more consistent, and are similarly priced to the API kit give or take a few pounds, they're worth the extra money believe me, the accuracy is incredible compared the API kits.
