okay, just wondering
I love betta's, I have 2 females in a community tank
but I'd like to get a male
in the shops, they are always in a jar of some kind
I have a small tank of about 5-6g I think, that would be for him alone, so that's probably big enough
but how about the temp? I've never seen a male betta in a tank with a heater
(I don't have a heater, and I can't find one that's small enough for the tank, guess they don't sell that around here)
what's the minimum temp?

greetz

They prefer temps over 75F but they can survive for a while at 70F. However I would definately suggest you get a heater, and on that note you'll need a larger tank... :shifty:

Or keep the room at a constant temp. The maximum temperature is over 85 F, though, so if something goes wrong with the heater it won't be so bad if the temp goes up.
