Tell me your Insomnia cures

Audiobooks work for us. Stops the mind from racing and gives a focus. You may not always be asleep but you are more "rested"
I love audiobooks and podcasts for that reason

Still no sleep, I appreciate all your suggestions. I’m going to try a 3 liter IV infusion to see if that helps settle my heart and will allow me to sleep. We’re at 150+ hours awake.

I really hope you can get some rest soon Gius. You're in my prayers.
Oh please no I can’t stay awake for another 120 hours 😭
Dang... So someone has stayed awake for 270hrs?? Holy moly...

"The record holder at the time was Robert McDonald, who went 453 hours 40 minutes (18 days 21 hours 40 minutes) without sleeping in 1986. Although we no longer monitor the record due to the inherent dangers associated with sleep deprivation, we can say that no one is known to have broken it since McDonald."

I think breaking records are cool and all, but don't go breaking these records 🙏🏻😅

266 is the new record

2500mls of saline later I do feel a bit better. I’ll have another 1000 tomorrow possibly. Hopefully this calms my heart enough to sleep

The longest I have gone without sleep is 3 days and I was a zombie at the end of it. I couldn't focus and could barely stand up. Eventually I passed out and woke up 5 hours later.

Ohhh, sorry, I missed that...
I was confused though when I saw the link so I thought you were recommending those which had cbd
I think they put the link there so she could see the other ingredients.

THC is better for sleep and a plant with a low level of THC might not have any CBD. Or get a high level of THC and it is unlikely to have any CBD and you won't need as much.

161 hours and 44 minutes. Wow. 🥲
IV helped. I was in hypovolemic shock in addition to my other heart issues going on. Gastroparesis is worse so I hadn’t eaten or drank anything in a couple days. My hypokalemia is fluctuating drastically as well.

I truly don’t know how I am functioning. It takes all my effort to type and read straight. I’m hallucinating. I think the only reason I’m still even functioning at all is my loss of consciousness episodes from my heart might be counting as little micro-sleeps of 1-2 minutes.

Actually 10-15 minute naps do apparently help with improved work so if you manage to have a few short naps during the day, it would help. I know when i pass out during the day and wake up a couple of hours later I still feel like a zombie but not as bad.
