I never really liked the Shining but I'm not much of a Jack Nicholson fan nor am I much of a Stephen King fan.

I don't like horror movies much... But I do like thrillers. Especially psychological thrillers as long as it's not spiritistic or has any demonic ghost type things in there...
Not a fan of much gore either.
I don't watch the Halloween movies. Never play call of duty, GTA, ect...

Doesn't stop me from seeing all the Jurassic Park/World movies though. To me the gore isn't TOO bad although it can get bloody at times.
