Tds Reading On Ro Water.

I ran my first batch of RO water today when i put the water into a glass to test the TDS it was 0


But when i filled one of my big water containers and checked it again i was read the TDS at 3


Could this be something leaching off the container? it is a 25 litre jerry can type container so can only think maybe there is traces of old salt in it


Is the water still ok to use? and will it be ok to mix later with my salt?

Ive read that you can use it up to 5 i maybe wrong so don't take my word for it.

I think we should have a seperate thread for everyones 0 tds readings so we know they aren't fobbing us off

If you run it in the glass again does it show at 0 after filling the container?

Have made a small update on my journal showing my plumbing journey


Will test the water out of the container but im guessing it will show traces still because of the salt in the container.

Sorry I meant straight from the ro unit to the glass if thats still 0 you know its the containter
