Tattooed Fish?

Have a question some people may be able to help me on...
Theres been this tattooed parrot fish at the local pet store ive been eyeing. On the side of the fish it says i love u...cept the love part is in the shape of a heart... how does one go about doing that? Also how long does it last? I assume till the fish dies, but i dont wana pay 70 bucks for some art that may not be permanent. Yhea 70 bucks they want for it...wanted to get it for my gf.. Please chime in thanks

Interesting. Learn something new every day. The fish has been there for a very long time, (maybe the price tag has sum influence on that) the story behind it is that someone ordered it but they wanted the pic of a rose on it, how a pic of a rose got mixed up with lettering i duno, but it was wrong and the person declined it. Therefore its been sitting there for a good yr at the most.

I never delt with dyed fish. If it's not natural that's kind of bad. Do you know any info or history of this dyed fish?

meh one of the store owners told me that the price could be haggled but it seems now it would be a waste of money regardless.

Well if it was like a hardcore hobby of mine i wouldnt mind paying any price for the different kinds of fish and equipment. Thing is people spend just as much money making cars go faster, building model railroads, and whatnot u know? My bettas will do me just fine for now as my expenses r being swallowed up elsewhere ha.
