Hi Everyone,

i've never actually seen a TOTM competition in progress as it was closed before i got heavily into this forum. i'd love to see it going again (along with all the other "of the months")

come on people if you feel the same lets show the mods how we feel.

I found the forum just as it was all coming to an end (I've read the treads to reasons why) Love to see it back. Not only is it great inspiration for your own tanks but it might encourage more people to really go all out when decorating thier tanks.

And I'd fancy winning TOTM

ahh fighting talk, i like it.

as to the plagurism (now thats definatly not right - er copying) someone suggested putting your screen name on a piece of paper on the front of the tank when taking pics to prove authenticity. i think that would solve all the problems.

if you get nominated you have to submit another pic with the screen name. simple solution.

There's numerous ways to stop the cheating, they're never gonna be 100% secure coz some people will always break rules. But they shouln't have the chance to spoil it for others

I can't vote on this as I never knew it However, I definitely think it's a good idea

I think it should be introduced but with deffinitive rules....

Like a minimum of 2 other angles provided for any tank nomination,
Deffinitive catagorys for Small / Medium / Large tanks (>20G. >60G. 61G+) etc,
Tanks need a minimum of 5 nominations to be entered for TOTM.

Why on earth is it harsh? It stops people from posting a picture of their tank then just asking friends to vote for it. It would portray a much more accurate nomination, and would be alot more worthwhile for those involved! 5 votes is not alot at all, perfectly achievable for somebody with a tank that is genuinly good.

yep i'd agree with bunji. 5 votes should be more than achieveable (looking at gf225's millon page thread.....)

different angles, yes great idea.

ahem cough cough calling all mods, any input welcome. gf225 i feel a project coming your way... and i'm sure you have an interest in the topic (once your current problems have been overcome)

I loved it. I was never nom'd, but really wanted to be. I was kinda upset that it was cancelled just as I wa getting interested in planted tanks. I might even be interested in taking care of it once in a while.
