Have you got your refractometer yet? Don't rely on a hydrometer!

Wait until temp is at 25c before you test that way you'll get a more accurate result as majority of hydro's/fracto's are calibrated at 25c.

my heater is at 26c so shall i put it to 25c?

What does your thermometer say? All equipment for measuring refractive index should be calibrated to 25oC, check with the instructions with your refractometer.
