the little tank on the right homes a small male betta, if you were going to ask :p

do you think that the 2 cupboards are strong enough to take the weight?

i have taken all the feet off the cupboards, and today ive gone out and bought really fine gravel which looks like sand, heres some pics..

Hi guppy man,

Tank is looking good

dont level off your gravel. it looks far more natural with various dips and rises etc.

What you will need to do though is add MORE gravel. From what I can see in your pic, you only have a thin layer of gravel (particularly on the left hand side) and you are going to struggle planting any plants.

I would personally add the same amount again as you have already to give a good bedding for your plants.

thay only had 3 bags of that sand, so i got all of them, i might go back and get atleast another 2 bags that should be ok shouldn't it?

ahh thats how u get a wall of bubbles! an airstone lol   dumb or wat! looks very nice b the way and the gravel looks like sand!

yes lol an airstone im getting 1 more the same size because my rena 400 has 2 outputs :D to have a big bubble wall. :p
the gravel is sand well thats what it says on the back of the gravel bag.

that will be y it looks like sand then lol! :p and it looks alot more stable on two stands

yes i knew that if i added water the tank might split, im happy with it like it is now :D
i will update soon, when i get more money lol

Just to let you know the heater does best near an area of high water flow i think e.i. near the filter. And im not too sure a 50w heater is really enough for a tank that size.
P.S if you put the heater and filter togeter it also looks neater IMO.

thnx ginge, the heater is the right size because when i went to get it there was a chart on the wall saying what type heater for what type of tank :D
