Does anyone know anything about these fish, Ive seen some for sale they are very expensive, however I cant find very much info about them on the tinterweb.

One of the rarest and most sought after Synodontis species, they reach a fair size and can be quite boisterous toward tankmates.

Unfortunately there are a lot of hybrids coming out of Eastern Europe which look like the real thing when young but change as they grow so question where they were obtained from, the real thing will be wild caught from Lake Tanganyika, fakes will be from wholesalers based within Eastern Europe.

Sounds about right but still be cautious. They are so expensive. I would love to have some but it really is somewhat out of my current price range. Pity.
