Supraman's 237 Gal Build

IMO you can have both Discus and Cardinals in that 237 gal tank 

 
Maybe some cories or loaches as well?

wait I can have both? I know that discus are related to cichlid's so I was worried the discus may try taking a few bites . now I am really liking the sound of discus and cardinals

Now that the old tank is gone, time to continue the build.

Got the basic frame work done on the stand, now time to start adding supports.



I again Pre drilled all the holes and then used a countersink then used 3 screws to secure it all.

Well here's the last update of the night. I managed to get 14 more pieces of wood put in for bracing, and still have 18 more to go.

Looks good. Glad you're adding the braces for extra support for the tank.

You've made a good start, keep up the good work.

Yea thi stand needs to hold just shy of 2000lbs so it will be well braced. The top will look like a " t " once complete. I'm not going to skin it right away as I want to see if it will need more bracing once the weight of the tank is on it and is filled. Only about one more 7 hour day of work to the stand and I should be able to build the tank

Great job so far.  I really like the cardinal discus Idea with cory cats.

The discus idea is on temporary hold as I'm going to house a catfish until its large for my tank. After that he will go into my uncles pond. Then I will have hoped to have tracked down where i can get a super cobalt green hue discusx2, and a red dragon discusx2.
