So far Liverpool have signed:

Craig Bellamy - Striker - Welsh
Gabriel Paletta - Left Back - Argentinian
Fabio Aureli - Left Back - Brazilian
Mark Gonzales - Left Wing - Chilian

Seems we are now heavily covered on the left with Riise, Warnock, Kewell & Zenden already there and the 3 new left sided players, though I did think Gonzales played right wing for Seville last season :S Now 1 more striker and a right winger and we're sorted and apparently we may be in for Nicholas Anelka again on a permanent basis for around £8.5m and Simao for around £10m.

We've got rid of:
Bruno Cheyroo
Fernando Morientes
Djibril Cisse (on loan, with a buyout clause)
and a buch of youngsters

I suspect that with all the options on the left, we will get rid of 1 or 2 from there, 1 of Zenden or Kewell and possibly Warnock, though it could be Risse being shoved out :dunno:

Just looked back to my first post when I said we'd get:
Andy Johnson - Close, he went to Neverton
Schevchenko (hoped for) - Went to Chelski
Raul - Thankfully not (so far)
Defoe - Who knows, could still happen
Pablo Aimar - Apparently we turned him down :hyper:

Also
Van Nistlerooy to leave ManYoo - Still think that will happen (not as sure now though)
Ballack to sign for ManYoo - Oops, went to Chelski
Henry to stay at Arsenal - WOOHOO I got one right
Etoo to Arsenal - Doubt it now
Barton to Arsenal - Maybe could happen as City are lining up replacement in Hamman, though Barton is now linked with Boro

It'll be interesting to see what happens with the likes of Torres and Klose who both did OK in the world cup and also what happens to the allegedly crooked Italian clubs. There is the potential for Juventus, AC Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina all to get relegated (Juve may even go down 2 leagues  ) and possibly be chucked out of europe too, so there will be a lot of talent on the move then. I suspect that Fergie, Wenger and Rafa are still waiting to see who becomes available, but the list of players is impressive:

Juventus: Buffon, Cannavaro, Zambrotta, Thuram, Viera, Nedved, Cameronesi, Olivera, Mutu, Ibrahimovic, Del Piero, Trezeguet
Milan: Dida, Stam, Maldini, Nesta, Costacurta, Seedorf, Gattuso, Rui Costa, Pirlo, Inzaghi, Gilardino

I'd like to see Viera come to Liverpool as backup to Sissoko  I suspect one or 2 of those will be in the Premiership next year whatever happens in Italy.

I think If Juventus do go to Seria C then 1 or 2 will be on the move but i doubt any will leave should they drop the one league to the Seria B as it's just the 1 year to get back up there.

Fiorentina will be kicking themselves as they've only just got back into Seria A and will now have to try again with AC and Juve to fight with :S

Anyone want Ronaldo!!!!!
Don't think he will be around much now ( if he returns to Manchester that is)

You can have him for free, the two faced s**t . Rooney will deck him I HOPE ;if he does go back :shout:

:shout: ROOOOOOOOONY :shout:

Yeah, Cappello is apparently "interested" in him, wonder if that forces goldenballs out of Real

Timmy, you may be interested to know that a Liverpool XI are playing a friendly against Lincoln City on Aug 16th.

Liverpool have now signed Pennant from Birmingham (according to SkySports News website), hope he is learning Spanish

So with him and Bellamy both having shall we be kind and say "checkered pasts" it will be an interesting year or two. Rafa doesn't accept hissy fits or bad bahaviour by all accounts which is why diouf was shipped right out with no 2nd chances.

At least they are both British and both proven at premiership level. Guess we can rule Shaun Wright Philips, Alves and Simao out now :dunno: Looks like we all missed out on Torres (for this year anyway :shifty: )

We're being strongly linked with Kuyt if they drop his price, if not, the barcodes can overpay for him, like they did for Owen  I thought we'd be in for Trezeguet and I'd like to see him at Anfield  I know he wasn't brilliant for France and has been patchy for Juve, but he'd be our best striker and with regular games (as he'd get with us) could cause some real damage.

Anyone know if Sir Alex Fergiscum is bothering buying anyone or not? I really expected him to buy 3 or 4 players this year and I'm amazed he's not pilfered Juventus yet. Arsenal have been quiet too :shifty:

Yes i'm shocked at Man Utd dorment transfer market movement... Apparently there is money available to Ferguson, we just haven't seen it yet :look: I think we need to find a good holding midfield player, not convinced by any of the ones he's plugged in. I hope we can nick a bargain or 2 from Juve...

Good signing for Pool with pennant i highly rate him :good:

As for other teams, I think ManYoo will lose Van Nistlerooy, he seems to want to me the main man and now they have Rooney, he definitely isn't, he also obviously wasn't happy being dropped for the cup final and the next league game. He's likely to go to Real to replace Ronaldo and team back up with his buddy Beckham.

:yahoo: I got one right  £10.2m, pretty good price for a man who has scored 150 goals in 219 games in the Premiership

Goodbye you horsefaced diving git :D

Long live Sir Alex
