Suicidal Betta?

Oh yeah I never thought about that, maybe the fact that you didn't have enough females and one female was bullying the other and the bullied female was trying to escape.

Problems:
1. It could possibly be suicidal or can sens other fish in other tanks around.
2. It could be caused by sibling rivalry.
3. Your water might not be what they are use to even though it might sound normal to you remember that each better is individual.

Thats the only 3 I could think of.

Bettas don't get "suicidal"... I'm of the opinion that's a strickly human condition -_-

I had a suicidal betta, jumped right outta his bowl into the drain. (was cleaning the bowls.) Anyways, I even got a spoon down the drain and scooped him up, but he jumped again and this time went all the way down til he was stuck in the "s" curve. I tried as much as I could to undo the pipe, but I was only 16, home alone, and had no idea how to undo the pipes. 10 mins went by and my hands actuallly got cut open from trying to twist the pipes open. I got scared he was going to dry up, so I ran the water so he got pushed all the way through the pipes. What else could I do? :-(

maybe she was the evil kinevil of the betta world... not a funny matter... there was a wee lesson here...as you've realised u needed more then 2 bettas or 1 singley and after all.. what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.

Your pleco will out grow that tank, they can reach up to 2 feet in length.

only if it is a common or south-american pl*co, if it is a bristlenose (antriscus) it will max out at 15.5cm.

Please post a picture of your pl*co so i may identify it.
