ive just stuck 40 2-3 day old molly fry into a 70l tank which is cycled and just for the fry as i have a handful of females and 2 males.

my question is in one of my bigger tanks i have a handful of sucking loach which keep the place nice and tidy, could i put a sucking loach or 2 into my fry tank or would they eat the fry???

I don't think they would actually go after the fry, but I would be afraid of them being sucked up by the loaches when then sit on the substrate to sleep, because the loaches will come out at night and do their job. I personally wouldn't risk it. :good:

To be honest any fish will try and eat fry if there small enough it's only natural. I too would not risk it till there bigger
