Stumped On Fishless Cycle

Looking good that way.

Yes I think the ammonia munchers are getting there as they processed 2ppm to 0-0.25ppm in 12 hrs. Have topped it back up to 2ppm this morning. If it's clearing in 12 hours should I top up twice a day or once a day with twice as much? Still not clear on this and don't want them to run out of food.
NitrItes are still around 2ppm - will be checking them again tonight. Haven't checked the nitrAtes today as they seemed to be heading in the right direction towards the bottom of the chart. It's just the nitrIte munchers that need to buck their ideas up and then I can maybe think about getting that lovely Half Moon Butterfly Plakat in violet that I've got my eye on!

Top up once a day, the normal amount. They won't run out of food.

The N-bacs always take longer to establish themselves than the A-bacs. Hang in there!

  I'm hanging! lol

Looking good!!! As long as the ammonia doesnt drop to zero for a great amount of time you wont kill the bacteria, not sure how long is safe, ive never let them drop to zero with no bioload before.
