Structured backgrounds

Hi,

Is it worth putting an INTERNAL structured background, I just bought one from http/www.juwel-aquarium.de/uk/index.html, and it is made of foam, it adds some depth perception, but how easy is this background to maintain, cleaning wise?

If it's one that looks like a rocky wall, I think they look most effective if you let algae build up, occasionally rubbing with a kitchen scrubber if it gets too much.

those last year when i went to japan i got some....and imo it's the same if u put it inside..or outside...i have it on my 55 gallon tank and you dont even notice it!...well it's just on the right side..it is also common in hong kong

i got a foam background today with build in filter....what kind of glue could i use to attach it to the back or hold it down....

I'd say silicone sealant
