Well if the mouse dies it won't upset me because im more worried about one of my cats because he got ragged around in a dogs mouth and now has deep mark in his chest so if the mouse dies i wont cry i would just dig a nice deep hole and put the mouse in and then soon forget i had her.
i cant really forget i cat i have had longer then the mouse i can still remember the kittens and Sid. :-(

It's sad to hear, however if your cat went into someone's garden I have no sympathy for it. It runs the risk when it goes where it's not wanted. If a cat comes into my garden I'll be surprised if it gets away from my dog.

Lets just hope your cat pulls through then!

The cat was sat on it's own property on it's own bin and the dog scared it off and grabbed hold of it! The owner just shouted "come on!" To the dogs that were attacking/chasing her cats! One got chased off by one dog and the other got ragged by the other dog! The owner was on the phone and he didn't even attempt to split them up!

That is what happened i was in the kitchen and my cat (freddie) was on the bin as always and then a heard a bang and a dog barking so i look out the window and i see a dog outside and freddie behind the bin and my other cat missing then i run to the door and see freddie in the dogs mouth being throw around like a toy then the other dog joins in and then i see the owner he looks at me shocked as heck and he was on the phone didn't even hang up all he aid was "come on" like he wanted the dog to do that then the dog throws freddie in the air and lets him just fall down the owner didn't even say sorry he jut walked away still on the phone but my mum called the police and if i see him again she will report him because it could have been a kid in the dogs mouth!

Haven't you got some grounds to actually report them for that then? If it was on your property you can usually claim the dog isn't suitable and needs to muzzled. If it does that to a cat on someone else's property what would it do to a small child who might happen to walk onto their garden etc?

My dog, sure it will go to kill a cat in OUR garden, but once it's outside it won't do a thing in fact it will go up and lick the same cat it just chased out.

Interesting, I think you should really think about pursuing some methods of reporting the owner/dog for carelessness, possibly the RSPCA will do something if they did actually stand by and do nothing but talk on the phone.

Edit; Sorry I didn't actually see your Post there Ms Vampire, however yeh you thought exactly how I did. Your Mum should report her/him anyway, RSPCA will probably be the best.

well i think freddie is dead now because he ran out outside last night and hasn't come back and he had a very deep mark in his chest and he has something wrong with his skin.
and we did call the police on the guy but they didn't do anything and freddie was our second oldest cat. :-(
:rip: Freddie i will never forget him never. :byebye:

why would you let an injured animal outside??

and if the dog had no leash on and if theres a leash law you might be able to get him for that....

No leash law but i also wonder why would you let an injured animal outside?

Surly if it was that bad you think it was going to die overnight you should have taken it to the vet.

Why did it take so long to take him to a vet?!?!?!

Alessa x.

Because we don't have the money for the vet bill but we where going to take him but we where busy worrying about other things like cat food and our food and school bus fare and really the owner of the dogs should pay the vet bill not us because it was his dogs hurting our cat!

That's why you tell the police what he looked like so they can find him and make him pay!
