Strange Eggs... Or Somethingelse?

Only about 1/3 of the eggs have hatched. How long should I wait for them to hatch before I remove the ones that didn't?
The pics aren't very good. but I got a couple.
These are the aeneus fry... (I have no idea how many have hatched in the tank)

Hey Sue... No fish today. :-(
They looked it up and said that it is listed as 2 day (not overnight) and was scheduled for the 9th not the 8th. Who ever put the info in on your end put it in wrong and so it took a different path. She said that they apparently put the garantee info on the delivery info. That is all she could figure.
Any way... maybe in the morning... I hope they will be ok. :/

That is what I was saying, that they told me that live anumals are handled differently so they are 2nd day express. I think it may be correct, because that is why Sacramento told me to be there in the morning. Regular Express goes out in the afternoon. :dunno: I will get to the bottom of it. But that is what they were going to do. They may come in at some time today or tonight, so you can still tell them to call you. It is also on the USPS order instructions to call you when they arrive. Mine scanned in at midnight.

She said that she would call me.
I sent you the money this morning. Did you get it?
My supplies came in. I am not happy with the other wood, but I will have to do what I can with it. :grr: :< That is what I am working on now. I may still be up working on this tank in the morning when the fish get here! It is not going well. :shout:
I am in decorating hell! :shout:

I will check back in later when I take another break... :good:

I'm sorry about the fish delay. I hope too that they will all be alright.

Yes! I got it. Thanks. I answered elsewhere.

I like the really hard wood from Africa, but I understand my Plecs won't. Seems the moss takes longer to get going too--maybe.

We should know something in the morning.
It is break time. I had to get something to eat.
I have mowed, shucked corn, and broken down the 55g. I got it leveled, and have got the basic layout. Now I just have to finish getting everything in place, and fill in the path. Then I can plant it back. I figure that I might get a nap around dinner tomorrow... never mind... Shay don't nap. I guess I will be up till bedtime tomorrow night.
I am taking a few pics as I go so I can put in my journal (in the planted section) I don't think they are going to turn out very well though. I have too many lights going...
Well... Break time is over. Got to get back in there... :shout:
:S

Look what I have... :hyper:

All are beautiful. They were kind of skittish for about 10 minutes. Within 20 minutes they were swimming up and down the glass and playing chase all over the place. :hyper:
I floated the bags for about 20 minutes and put them in the tank. It worked great! No signs of stress at all that I can tell.
When I go to the tank to look they line up and stare back at me. They are not hiding at all. They seem to really like playing in the filter current. :good:
The fry are in the 29g with the others that are about their size. They are hiding. I suppose they are fine too. I will try to spot them later. I want to give them some more time. They were a bit jumpy. :good:

Oh! Thank you, Jesus! :thanks:

:yahoo: :cake: :- :hooray: :band: :fish: :fish: :fish: :* :hyper:  :yahoo:

I am delighted for you and the fish and ME!

They look great! I really hope the little dark guy makes it for you too! :D

:kewlpics:

I still have the light off. I figured I would give them today without it. They are still swimming everywhere. They have been playing all day long. I have never seen corys so active. (except when spawning) These don't act like spawning. They just look like they are playing. They are so cool! :good:

I still haven't spotted the fry. I think they like it in the plants. :good:

I just love this picture

Cracker You are such a show off. Flaring just like your lovely Betta boys!..

I'm not sure why you like that pic, but thanks. That is not one of my better pics.

Hey sue... the only problem with the shipping was that one of the bags leaked. It had about half the water of the others. It still had enough though. It was the smaller one.
I just thought you might want to know for when you decide to ship again. I don't know what could be done differently though. It had a very slow leak in the bottom side of the bag.
They didn't eat very well last night, but they are out playing again today. None of them act like there is any problem. I figure they will start to eat more in the next few days. :good:

Was it because I didn't tie it well? It leaked through both bags? BTW, the big bags were scavenged from other uses. Things had been shipped to me. The one that looked dirty had carbon cartridges in it. That was carbon dust.

Did water leak through to the box?

They are used to black worms in the morning and commercial food in the evening if anything. They will eat when they see it is the food they will get. They are gblackmailing you. The little rascals are spoiled.

It was the little bag leaking. It was coming from the bottom, I couldn't see a hole though. I turned it over and nothing leaked, so you sealed it pretty well. It just had a slow drip at the bottom (where that stuff was wadded up) when it was upright. The big bag caught all the water though. The box stayed perfectly dry. There wasn't much that leaked out. It wasn't much water to start with, and about half of it was still in. It only leaked when there was a little pressure on it. Even then it was only a small drip. There could have been a very small hole by the seams and the bottom.

They are eating better now. :good:
