Strange behaviour and discolouration!? Advice please?

I have ghost shrimp now in my 30 gallon tall tank, they are interesting to watch. They like to climb the anacharis, you can see one in the middle of the photo. I am also thinking of cherry shrimp once I get the hang of raising shrimp. Ghost shrimp are cheaper and hardier.

@Neon1977 You are more likely to find anacharis called elodea or egeria in the UK. Look for those names rather than anacharis.

Brill good to know! I posted a thread on the shrimps and other invertebrates forum saying i wanted advice on what first shrimp to get for my tank to add in with my Neons when the tank has cycled and was advised to get cherry shrimp to add but good to know about the ghost shrimp too! When i set my shrimp tank up in a couple of months I want lots of different coloured shrimp and also some zebra and tiger orange nerite snails in there too! Can't wait!

Try doing a large water change. Your water parameters might be off
