Stocking Questions And Tank Juggling

I currently have 2 tanks one 95l and one 82L

The 92 currently has 7 serpae tetras, 6 Zebra Danios, 1 Upside down Catfish
The 82 has 7 Tiger barbs and 1 Rainbow Shark

Have I got any space left and what would be a good idea to add. Also could I move the fish about to create more space?

I have been thinking whether to swap the danios with the barbs and the catfish for the shark. The catfish is a waste of time as he never comes out (ever) I just don’t see the point of keeping fish like this!

The upside down catfish is a nocturnal species, this is the reason why you probably never see him. If you like active fish, then no, there is no point in keeping one but if you like to create a natural aquatic setting from a certain region, or want to care for unusal fish, then yes, there is a point in keeping him.

I would be inclined to switch the danios with the barbs so that your 92 litre is full of the more aggressive, fin-nipping fish. Find a home for you catfish (and your shark too) if you don't like him. No point keeping a fish you don't like, because you won't provide the right conditions for it. Then you could possibly add something else to both tanks. Just do research first into what you get because if you'd researched first into the upside down cat you would have seen they aren't overally active and rarely come out during the day.

I'd keep the upside down catfish.

I'd recommend looking feeding and looking for him after lights out or maybe before you go to bed since the catfish will probably be awake then.

Get rid of the shark though.

cheers for the replies and the advice is took well.
Of course i will look after the UCF, he is a beautiful fish and id always make sure to give him the correct environment.
Thing is he was active for about a month then went like this which I thought was strange.

As for the shark, hes my favourite fish. so much character and his colour is superb. The fins are all bright orange and everyone comments how nice he is.

I will just see how my setups go as ive had no problems whatsoever so it could be a case of why fix summit that aint broke!

Sorry if i came across as a UCF hater, but hes in good hands!!
