Hopefully not literally.

I'm pretty much there with my stocking for all 3 now, am planning to go to my lfs tomorrow to get 6 more each of the lampeyes, pandas and tigers, one lot for each of the groups in my existing tanks.

But...

I really want a proper cichlid. I was thinking a T bar/Sajica may be the best candidate in terms of size and compatibility?

So

a. Would a T Bar go with the cories/barbs/loaches in my 240 litre (detail in sig)?
b. Would it push me over the stocking limits (bearing in mind I'm planning to have 18 tigers in total)?
c. Would a single sajica be ok or are they best in a pair?

If the answers are negative, are the any non-dwarf cichlids that would be suitable to be kept as a single in my tank?

i think a sajica would be good, but it might be pushing the stocking just a little bit over the edge

Hmmm...yeah...I may be best off leaving the tigers at 12...

You think the saj would be fine with my mix?

Oh yes, definitely just want a single cichlid! :D

Sajica should fit your bill well as would Honduran Red Points, Spillurus, Cutteri, Centrarchus. Also consider Thorichthys species like Firemouth,Ellioti,Mixteco, blue Acara, Rainbow cichlids would also be a good choice and a pair would work without being too agressive to other inhabitants. You should find these fish in most local fish shops. A more agressive species like a female Salvini could also work but it would be 50/50 and could go either way but if it was a small juvi then you would have a good chance of a tank that will work.

Really? All of those woud be fine? I really wanted a firemouth or blue acara but thought they might be too much for my tank...

A singleton or a pair of them fish should be fine with dithers and bottom feeders but every cichlid has a different personality that's what makes them great wet pets, it would just be when they mate they will defend there territory as cichlids.

I would hold off adding any more tigers unless you want a tigers only tank, you have enough of a group to deal with the aggression and they get fairly big when adults.
