Stocking Options For 29gal Biocube

What nano tank would you guys recommend. Reason why I wanted a biocube was because every lfs has them so I thought it was the best. Thanks

and seffi I have been reading about your tank and siblings and wow lots of info and inspiration. I am on the 7th page. Just curious on what book did bigc recommend didn't catch that. And keep up the good work.

There are quiet a few options a lot of people here use the Orca TL550 I went with this tank as its the larger of all in one nanos and gives you more stocking options I would have look on Ebay see if you can find yourself a bargain I got mine with LR + lots of extras for £180. If you do get a second hand tank with LR in transporting can be a pain but is very doable I got all mine in a clio.

Just curious, I am 21 years old and will be living with parents for another 3-4 years, so i refrain from getting a aquarium until I am settled in a new home? Or can I just love my tank fairly easy without problems transporting the goods.

ps there are several really good plug and play nanos out there at the moment - have a look on ebay as suggested, there are some real bargains on there - zipzap told me there was a orca 550 on there the other day that didn't get sold, it was 99p, she forgot about it so didn't bid, but boy what a steal

well just to let you know, I live in the united states, colorado to be exact. i looked ebay and theres no orca 550, must be a europe thing?

So I been looking and seems to me that the JBJ 28gal HQI is better than the tl550. I think i might so with that one. I also see the cf-quad from jbj is that even better than the hqi?

I've decided to get a pair of clowns, firefish, goby/pistol shrimp pair, and two other fish no idea yet. Leaning towards royal gamma and blenny.

You need to be careful with the HQI as it has a MH light in the hood which can cause to much heat great if you are looking into SPS.

Also the JBJ 28gal HQI is smaller than the TL550 I think 6 fish will be too many I have 6 in my TL550 and am pushing my luck one is to be moved into my project tank but they are all young at the moment so not an issue yet.
