Stocking Game: 80g

Ok, where did you get yours? I haven't really had much luck trying to get them near where I live, all the lfs I talked to said they wouldn't be able to get any.

Do you have any experience or suggestions as to the umber of wimples or denticulata I could keep in an 80g or if it is even possible?

mine were imported either through the LFS, or a friend who is a local importer.
trust me, if i can get 300+ in hawaii where everything is illegal (and what isnt illegal, is so expensive that the prices should be illegal) im sure you can fine a few near you.

as far as the other you named (assuming were talking about the same fish):
umber - i have no idea what that is.
"wimples" - i assume you mean the high fin banded shark (Myxocyprinus asiaticus) otherwise i dont know what that is either. but these fish get very large, and will need more than an 80g long term
denticulata - which i assume you mean pygos, will be ok for an 80g. they only getto be around 8" max, so you could have a couple in your tank with no problems.

I found only 1 online, and i m pretty sure i can't keep just one. i need like 10-15

Wimple - Catoprion mento
denticulata - Pygopristis denticulata

And by "umber" I meant number. lol.

My lfs completely suck out here in terms of getting rare/odd fish. The place where I got my sanchezi closed, leaving all of 2 decent fw lfs that I know of. One of them said they will not import "piranhas" as they think they are illegal (they aren't, I checked with the division of wildlife with the person who is in charge of all the special licensing, the wording in the law code is very confusing). The other just doesn't have much in the way of odballs. At all. They weren't even able to get some south american puffers. I could try again but I doubt it would happen.
