Spotted A Couple Of Baby Platys!

Hey,
I set up a smaller tank and occupied it with 6 platys 2 weeks ago, I have just seen two baby's, I think they may be about 3-4, not many, I know, these are just the ones that have survived.
I suspect them to be about a week and a half old, perhaps if they stick in for another week or so they will be too big to be eaten!

Hi James,

It will take a little longer than a week for them to big enough not to be eaten or chased to the point of death. Make sure there are plenty of hiding places for them (this can be done with floating plant and the likes) and hope for the best

I love looking in my LB tank and seeing new random babies peeking out from time to time hehehee
