spot on head

I just got everyone moved into their tanks (I just moved back to school) When I put Pedro back in I realized he has a white spot on his head..... What could this be. It literally looks like part of his scale has just rubbed off? Please give me suggestions, I'll be able to go to a lfs tomorrow afternoon. Thanks

Your typical white spot is ich but this sounds more ike a net injury,possibly?

I will get pics after class @ 12:45.....It doesn't look like ich to me (fingers crossed) I think you may be right on the netting injury. I did have trouble with him coming out of the net when I put him in his cup. I'll try to get good pics! Thanks

It really looks like he just scraped it on something, it might not be anything to worry about, if that's the case it should heal quickly on it's own provided you keep his water sparkly. Keep an eye on it and if it appears to be getting bigger and/or infected you'll have to do something.
